Ingredients:
1/2 cup drained sliced or pitted ripe olives,
sliced 2 tsp olive oil
1/2 cup onion, thinly sliced
1/2 cup green pepper strips
1 pack mushrooms, sliced
1 1/2 - inch thin crust prepared pizza crust
1/3 cup prepared pizza sauce
4 tomatoes, sliced
3 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
2 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)
1-1/2 cups Italian blend or mozzarella cheese, shredded
Method:
Heat oven to 450 F.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Add onion; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add green pepper and mushrooms; cook 5 minutes,
stirring occasionally.
Place pizza crust on a large baking sheet; top with pizza sauce, mushroom mixture, tomatoes, olives, basil and rosemary.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over pizza.
Bake 12 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
Cut into wedges.
Makes 12 appetizer servings or 4 main dish servings. |
